Blocking refers to the act of obstructing or deflecting someone´s movements. In order to know about how exactly cellular blocker work, let us understand first how mobile phones work. Cellular phones works with the help of transmitting signals. The cell phones keep contact with the cellular stations by transforming an alive signal with ID code in short period. This indicates that our cell phone is “ON”. It shows that our cellular phone is in coverage area.

Now, when the signal gets disturbed through any disturbances we think the cell phone is not in coverage area. The cell phone is totally blocked. The cell phone jammer cuts the transformation between the cellular phone and base station. It prevents the cell phone from transmitting the live signal to the cellular station with ID code.

It makes the receiver to believe that the particular cell is out of coverage. After certain period, the mobile displays “searching for network” or “no service”. This is how the cellular blocker works. However, due to this you will not be able to make or receive any calls. Once the user switches off the cellular jammer, he/she will be able to make and receive calls.
